The Korean drama unofficially title "Endless Love" was actually a four different series based on the the season. Each season dealt with a a different aspect of love , different plot lines and a different set of characters. They were called "Autumn Fairy Tale" (2000), "Winter Sonata" 2002, "Summer Scent" 2003 and "Spring Waltz" (2006) . Each show started with young love that continues on into adulthood after being separated with slightly different variations on that theme. Scenery was very important in the show often displaying the season which the series was about. They also followed trends at the time the first shows Autumn and Winter dealt with tragedy where as the spring and summer show became more lighter fare.

Description

Endless Love is a Philippine drama adaptation of the Korean drama Autumn in My Heart. It premiered on June 28, 2010 on GMA Telebabad and June 30, 2010 worldwide on GMA Pinoy TV. It features Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera as the ill-fated Johnny and Jenny, under the direction of Mac Alejandre. From December 30, 2011 until February 29, 2012 the series was re-aired daily with double episodes on GMA Life TV worldwide.

Origin

Autumn in My Heart is the first series in Yoon Suk Ho's four-part instalment titled Endless Love.Autumn in My Heart aired in South Korea through KBS2 from September 16, to November 7, 2000 running with 16 episodes.

The Philippine airing rights went to GMA Network back in late 2003. The drama aired two more times in 2004, and once more in 2006.

Production

In November 2009, GMA Network formally announced that they have acquired the adaptation rights of the Korean drama Autumn in My Heart, with Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera in the lead roles. In December 2009, director Joyce E. Bernal was hired to helm the project. A teaser trailer was shown during the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival, attached to GMA Films' Ang Panday.
